Privacy policy
Effective: 28 October 2026 · Publisher: Great Cy · Contact: iamgreatcy@gmail.com
This policy covers the SyncCut Flow Connector browser extension. Its single purpose is to connect a user's Google Flow tab with SyncCut Studio running on the same computer for ordered video generation, review and export.
Information used
- Flow project and generated-media URLs, the video-generation controls and status needed for the requested task, and generated video files.
- Prompts, narration included in prompts and optional reference images supplied by the user through local Studio.
- A temporary local Studio connection token, tab/window identifiers and job identifiers used to connect the correct window and avoid duplicate submission.
The extension reads relevant Flow page content to find controls and identify generation, credit or verification states. It does not collect general browsing history, read Google passwords, access password managers or use the cookies API. Google media requests can use the browser's existing Google session in the normal way; the extension does not export that session to Studio.
Where information goes
Prompts and reference images are entered into the user's Google Flow page. Google processes these under its applicable terms and privacy policy. Media is retrieved from the Google media/storage hosts requested by that Flow task over HTTPS. Generated clips, task status and necessary URLs are relayed to the local Studio worker on loopback (localhost or 127.0.0.1). The extension has no developer cloud upload endpoint, advertising, analytics or data-sale functionality.
The separate Studio application's AI planning and narration features can send topic text, script text, notes and sources to configured AI services when the user requests those features. Those requests are made by Studio, not by the connector. Google and any configured service process information under their own terms. The connector does not receive or store the Studio service's Gemini API keys.
Storage and deletion
Connection tokens and active tab/window state are held in extension memory. Submission markers containing job identifiers are kept in the Flow tab's session storage to prevent resubmitting the same job. They are cleared with that tab's session/site data. The connector does not use Chrome storage sync.
Generated clips, plans and job records saved by the local Studio worker remain in its local data directory until the user removes them. Removing the extension stops future connector activity but does not delete the user's Studio projects. Users can disconnect/disable the extension in their browser, clear Flow site data, and manage local Studio files themselves.
Use limits and support
Information is used only to provide the connector's described workflow. It is not sold, used for advertising, used to assess creditworthiness, or made available for unrelated human review. SyncCut Flow Connector's use and transfer of user data is limited to its stated single purpose, in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Contacting support by email shares the message and any attachments you choose to send with Great Cy and the email provider. Do not send account credentials or private project files unless they are needed and you intend to share them. The public documentation site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes ordinary network requests under its own policies; the site has no added analytics scripts.
Material changes will be described in the updated policy and release notes.
